Update, update, update!

We're definately going up a stage, at this point I'm doing all the color
balancing with a real TV connected to the computer.
The reason for this is the computer monitor colors do not match at
all the colors of a real TV.

Tom is masking Kirk's background, he's spent a LOT of time with
this scene and it looks incredible. Initially it was a wobbly scene and we
ran it through the stabilizer and then Tom took over from there.
again...
Tom naps!
And finally, I'm doing the music! I think I've come up with a theme
song I like. Again if you play an instrument, (or know someone who do)
let me know!

Calvin was a fantastic help last Sunday! He took my notes from the rough
edit and went through the video so the fine edit is almost done!

Coolness reigns!

I finally got to watch it.

So I finally got to watch the rough edit, with Bonnie, Mom, Rachel, and Dad. I was actually pleasantly surprised, the acting was pretty good (and as Bonnie said "I think Timothy as the main actor actually did a good job, feeling his lines... like at the coffee shop where he say's 'I have a dream too'"). It actually looks really good, I don't mean it's perfect, or even excellent but I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Thank the Lord! So Bonnie and I were talking some about coming up with music etc...

We found something like 58 trouble spots that need work, it ranged from choppy transitions to bad audio to coloring and effects. It's pretty neat to see how much it has progressed.

RED!!! ("and what" you ask, "does that mean?")

It means the ROUGH EDIT (is) DONE!!!!

We are currently burning it to DVD so we can begin to do the special effects, fine edit, music, audio etc.... The following is some pictures of us celebrating after completing the rough edit. The video clip below shows us actually working on the movie, there's still a lot to do (and a lot of special effects for my incredible little bro. Tommy), but the rough edit is done and we can go from here!
Thanks be to the Lord for his help. Thanks for the support!
As the director I'm especially excited. (Don't you like
the tie?)
Tommy was excited....but in his own way!

I think Jamie found this event spiritually
uplifiting.

As odd as it sounds I think Timothy could care less.
(Afterall, who in their right mind would like to see a movie of
themselves?)

This video shows slightly what we go through when we work on post production.
Anyway, thanks again be to the Lord!

Spring Break

Well, bad and good news:

The Bad news is that we actually weren't as far along the rough edit as I had originally thought, there's actually quite a bit more to do to it.

The Good news is that we got a lot done, and now are really close to completing the rough edit!

Tommy has worked on Visual Effects for about 4 scenes this week and I've been finishing up the editing to the last scene. It's taking a while because it's such an intense scene. Anyway, it's coming together.

A more newer update! :)

Pardon my unofficial English in the heading, but most of you know that's just how I talk!

Anyway....not a lot has been done in the past week, mostly due to finals coming up and sickness in the ranks (Jamie got it bad); so with spring break coming up I'm hoping to get a lot done! The music score is kind of a burden hanging over me like a hungry vulture, so if any of you play an instrument, please let me know. I'm especially interested in violin (or drums)...

TTYL!
