This day we had a lot of pictures since the crew consisted of Marty and Myself and we only filmed for about a half an hour.

So here's what we were able to do today:

My desktop was having some real issues with file access, it might have a virus or some other hardware issue, so that killed about an hour of our time today. However Jamie did some editing on the movie on the last scene and we talked about exactly how we want that to go.

Also I was able to get 1 bumpy shot stabilized. However the aspect ratio is wrong, and the software does not support 16:9 widescreen (what we shot the movie in) so the image is stretched, therefore we will have to compress it and crop it to make it work in the Adobe editor. But the stabilization is great! :) I'm really happy that's working.

So we're still plugging away. I'm posting some pics I took today of us hard at work! ;)

Update

If anyone still reads this, they're probably like "Dude! Do they ever work on that video???!?!?!?!!" Well, the answer is, yes and no. I don't often have that much time, but we really are trying to make progress, every week (almost) something gets done. I researched and selected a video stabilization program for some of our jerky scenes, that way Tom isn't going through frame by frame. It seems like it's working ok, we still have to get some aspect ratio stuff figured out for exporting the video back into the editing program (ie, do we lose resolution with the program? Does our export go out in 16:9 widescreen? stuff like that). Anyway, I really am hoping to work on it this weekend! Yeeha!

Interesting info....

So Tommy and Jamie have been working on the movie, they're doing a great job. We have one of the end scenes where Timothy, Grant and Gabriel are in a field while the camera pans around them. The shot was really jerky so Tommy is going through, frame by frame and steadying them (that's a lot of frames at 33fps). So good work guys!
